Making A Difference

I wanted to take a moment to talk about what a great event we held on Saturday, March 6. We had the pleasure of partnering with Trellis and The Crossing Church in Costa Mesa. Trellis (Love Costa Mesa) is a faith based organization of forty plus churches helping to improve the lives of our homeless neighbors. The Crossing Church offers their facilities every week to assist Trellis in serving hot meals, passing out essentials, offering showers and haircuts.

On Saturday, we were able to distribute over 100 Bombas socks, 120 sack lunches, 28 blankets, 15 handmade caps and 54 handmade masks.

Our event was posted on our free phone app which had an overwhelming response. We had over sixteen volunteers sign up for this event. Special thank you to John Begin, Minister of Homeless Initiative at Trellis. He also works with the city of Costa Mesa. John was an amazing host. He helped us organize and pass the word on that we would be there on Saturday. We appreciate his help so much. He is truly making a difference.
